What can be assessed
- New component tooling and change parts
- Track, sensor and escapement changes
- Bulk hopper and replenishment upgrades
- PLC, HMI and machine handshake
- Guarding, access and fault recovery
Assessment, modification and integration of existing bowl feeders, tracks, escapements, sensors and controls for changed components or production lines.

A retrofit may be practical when the base equipment remains serviceable and the new component, output or interface can be achieved with proportionate tooling, controls and guarding changes. An evidence-led review should compare modification risk with replacement.

A technically possible modification is not automatically the lowest-risk commercial route.
The review should include wear, parts availability, controls obsolescence, structural capacity, safeguarding, achievable output, changeover, validation effort and the cost of production downtime. Where the existing platform remains sound, focused retooling can extend useful life. Where the new requirement changes the feeding principle, a replacement system may be clearer.
Send equipment and component detailsSometimes. The bowl, tooling, drive, controls and remaining machine condition must be reviewed against the new part and output requirement before retrofit is recommended.
Yes, subject to the available hardware and controls access. A defined signal schedule should cover demand, ready, low level, track full, fault, reset and emergency-stop behaviour.
Provide feeder photographs, nameplate details, drawings where available, the old and new parts, target rate, current problems, downstream interface and controls information.
Replacement may be more credible where the drive or structure is worn, the new part needs fundamentally different orientation, guarding is inadequate or the cost and risk of modification approach a new system.
